1961: Born in Xinjiang Province, China
1983: Third Prize of the National Art Competition
1985: Graduated from the Shandong Art Institute, Shandong Province, China
1996: Moved to Berlin, Germany to teach at the Berlin University of Art, HDK
1997: Invited by the city of Berlin to serve as the curator for Sino-German cultural exchange
