Artist Biography:
Gao Hui-Jun was born in China in 1966, and graduated from the Central Academy of Arts and Design. Some of his important exhibitions include: 2008 “He Shang Gao Hui-Jun – New Landscape,” Xin Dong-Cheng Space For Contemporary Art (I), Beijing; 2005 “BANG,” Beijing Art Now Gallery, Beijing; 2005 “Gao Hui-Jun,” Soka Art Center, Taiwan; 2004 “CHINA AVANTGARDE,” Vanessa Art House, Jakarta. Through traditional art form, Gao manages to set a significant standing in contemporary art, as well as realizing his modern artistic concept with traditional landscape. It is discernible that he inserts compassion and humane value into his art.
